Act of kindness by Bashirhat Police during the Corona lockdown is commendable !!!

Indiapost24 Web Desk:When the country is under 3rd phase lockdown due to the outbreak of COVID-19, hundreds of underprivileged families are in urgent need of daily food, are struggling to earn a single meal a day,in such hour of emergency, Bashirhat Dist Police stands with those people, sometimes in providing food items or cooked foods or any type of help and support to the needy and destitute individual, in every way possible..

The same way today the Nazat Police under the direction of Superintendent of Bashirhat Dist Police,IPS Kankar Prosad Barui,have come forward to provide essential rations and foods to daily wagers, homeless and other poor people in view of the coronavirus pandemic as well as distributing Health Drink like Horlicks,Jr Horlicks,Nan,Fruits to more or less 30 Thalassemic Children who are extremely poor and belonging to backward classes in this challenging time.

Thus Nazat police provides food commodities to more or less 90 families of daily wage workers and rickshaw pullers in Sandeshkhali-1 Panchayet Samity areas properly maintaining lockdown rules..

Beneficiaries who collect food items from the distribution said " it is a great help from our Police Administration,we are thankful to them"

Speaking to Indiapost24, SP Bashirhat IPS Kankar Prosad Barui said "just after the whole month's blood donation drive,similar food distribution drives have been going on conducting across my whole Police Dist jurisdiction areas to help the genuinely disadvanced and needy families during this lockdown with following social distancing norms to prevent the spread of the pandemic and on the other hand similarly making sure the forces and Civic volunteers to take necessary hygiene precautions by wearing gloves and face masks and using hand sanitisers during food distribution"

"Over all,We feel that as human beings, it's our responsibility to help the most vulnerable amongst us in their time of need" said IPS Barui.

This great act of kindness despite challenging times is commendable. On a note of positivity, our nation has definitely come together in distressing times. Examples like these have restored our faith in humanity.
